Psalm 91

God's Protection in the Midst of Danger

 

Psalm 91 is one of my favorite scriptures. When I feel discouraged, hopeless and fearful, I speak this Psalm with confidence. It helps me feel at peace and the anxiety I experience subsides. I personalized Psalm 91 for you. Be encouraged!!

 

I will live in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare of the LORD, "He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him."Surely he will rescue me from every trap and protect me from deadly disease. He will cover me with his feathers, and under his wings I will find refuge. His faithful promises are my armor and protection. I will not fear the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day, nor the disease that stalks in the darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right hand, but these evils will not touch me. I will open my eyes and see how the wicked are punished. I will say, The LORD is my refuge, The Most High is my shelter, no harm will conquer me, no disaster will come near my home. For he will command his angels to protect me wherever I go. They will lift me up in their hands, so that I will not strike my foot against a stone. I will trample on the lion and the cobras; I will crush fierce lions and serpents under my feet! Lord you will rescue me and protect me because I love you and acknowledge your name. I will call on you, and you will answer; you will be with me in trouble, you will rescue me and honor me. With long life you will satisfy me and show me your salvation. Amen
